Becoming the Artist

Becoming the Artist! DSFA is excited to introduce Becoming the Artist: A Portfolio-Building Art Experience, an 8-week program for young artists ages 8–12. Meeting Wednesdays from October 14–December 9, 6:00–7:30 PM, students will create original artwork while learning how to develop their artistic voice, begin an art portfolio, create an artist résumé and bio, and prepare their work for exhibition. The experience concludes with student artwork displayed during DSFA’s production of Finding Nemo! Each enrolled artist will also receive one complimentary student ticket to attend the show and proudly see their work on display. Tuition is $125 for all 8 weeks, and ALL art supplies are included.
